meet patrick rhames

Mr. Rhames is a long-time member of The Spectrum Art Gallery, Sorensen Art Galleries, and the Fresno Camera Club. A local digital photographer, he prints his work using archival pigment inks on fine art archival paper, covering portraiture, landscapes, commercial imagery, and weddings in both monochrome and color. Introduced to serious photography as a rookie police officer with the Fresno Police Department, he pursued it as a second career upon retirement, becoming licensed in 2010 after studying at the New York Institute of Photography.

Currently, he creates unique, limited edition photographic art pieces for homes and businesses, focusing on "attracti-scapes"—attractive scenes that are beautiful and thought-provoking. His portfolio includes landscapes of the Valley, Yosemite, the Sierra Nevadas, Death Valley, Oregon, Virginia, and Ireland, as well as streetscapes, wildlife, nature, and historical sites. The “P. W.” in his signature comes from his Peace Officer training and has become a hallmark of his work.
